Every wedding day is bound to have it’s hiccups, and although Brad and Kristin had a few more than planned, they had the best attitude about their day! They rolled with the punches and chose to celebrate their wedding accordingly!
With the bridal party and family in tow, we made our way to the park where Kristin does quite a bit of her running. What a great time they made of it and we had such a blast capturing all the great emotions that came with the exuberant crowd. They had no problem making it a good time. Although I was having fun with everyone, I was itching to get the happy couple to myself! It’s always my favorite time of the day and I couldn’t help but make it special for them. Usually when a couple doesn’t see each other before the wedding, this is their first chance to be alone and relish in the fact of the days events and how quickly they already passed. The moments are sweet and the time is precious and before you know it, we are sweeping them off to the reception!
Their reception was nestled in downtown Columbus at the ..Columbus Athenaeum.. ! The old style theaters turned into banquet halls, made for a lovely backdrop. The sweet ambient candles and lights strung above created the perfect setting for their party. Guests enjoyed their scratch off table favors and appetizers before the happy couple was to be announced. During that time, I was delighted to have Brad’s Mom come up and thank me and Andrea for being with them. Her words were sweet. They really wanted you to join them today. They wanted you so bad and we appreciate you being here. Don’t ever take your job lightly girls. Andrea and I agreed and all evening it resonated with me, I was so thankful for her kindness. I gave her a hug and I smiled knowing that even though the day wasn’t complete that my work had been done!
So without further ado Part II of Brad and Kristin’s big day!
Mr. + Mrs. Piper! I sincerely loved having the pleasure to work with you both! To join you in a day that may not have had everything go right, but it was still perfect. Those are the things you will look back on years and years from now, how silly they all will be! From now until then, I wish you many, many, years of marriage and happiness! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!
