..Trent + Tiffany | Maumee Bay Portrait Photographer..

A few days after ..Trent + Tiffany.. tied the knot, we met up for a Take Two session.  We decided on a sunrise session to get the morning sun across the lake.  It was slightly cloudy from the rain the day before, but the color that spread across the sky was nonetheless, goregous.  Mornings have never been easy for me {even after having my little guy}, and I could tell that Trent had a mutual feeling!  But to walk out and see the yummy light that was just spilling across the horizon, made it oh so worth it!

We started out with some portraiture, at a much slower and calming pace than what normally takes place on the wedding day.  It was a great opportunity to talk with them and have them already look back on their wedding day!  {And to hear the crazy stories that happened afterward.}  To see how quickly it flies, and to understand how so much planning really is engulfed in an instant.

It wasn’t long before we headed over to the beach, where the real fun began!  Tiffany wanted the opportunity to get in the water in her dress before it was cleaned and put away!  So they inched their way into the cool morning water, and I may have gotten a reaction or two!  The sun was making its ascent into the sky and every now and then it would peek it’s way through a cloud for a split second.  I love the warm and buttery images that can come from such beautiful light.

Trent + Tiffany, thank you for being so awesome!  I know sunrise was early, but I hope that these made it all worth it!  Congratulations once again to the both of you, and I can’t wait to continue to be a part of your life when you begin a family!

..Longworth Hall | Cincinnati Wedding Venue..

A few weeks ago I had an amazing opportunity to meet, hang out, and work hand in hand with some fellow wedding professionals.  Rewind to a couple of weeks prior when I was approached by Meghan, who owns ..Design the Date.., but also works at ..Longworth Hall..!  It had been expressed to her that they wanted to heighten renting out their space for wedding receptions and the like.  The space was already being used for conferences and meetings, but they needed an idea to bring in the brides!  Meghan took the opportunity to step in and make the suggestion for a concept shoot.

That is where I, along with a few others {links below} were brought in to help a bride envision herself in the space.  So ladies and gents, if your looking for a space that has rustic brick walls, really cool wooden shutters, and an industrial feel, I think you have found your match!  A modern space downstairs is the perfect greeting for your guests, adorned with fabulous furniture and art pieces everywhere.  If your looking for an urban feel to your portraiture, they have endless possibilities for both in and outdoors.  I was in love, and can’t wait to get a wedding there soon!  {Let’s just say that putting a bride in that space made my job easy, and oh sooo much fun!}

Meet Emily.  She has been married for almost a year now and was more than thrilled to take some time out of her day to come model for us.  She said, Who wouldn’t want to come out and do this on their lunch break?   She had this killer serious look and it had me swooning all day!  {Don’t mind the hanger…something borrowed you could say!}

I adored this art piece made out of wooden bats!

Two of my favorite images of the day!  Great job on hair and makeup girls!

This is Liz.  Married just a few short weeks ago, she commented, I’m just excited to wear my dress again.  I didn’t think I ever would.  So I was excited that she had the opportunity to do so, she too was a great model!  She had this laugh and smile that could light up a whole room!

Again, goregous makeup and hair!

This art wall was sooo sweet, and her laugh so contagious!

Thank you to Meghan for asking me to be on board with this project, Longworth for allowing us professionals to come together to serve you, all the fabulous professionals that made my job easy, and to our fantastic models Liz + Emily!  It was an awesome time and I was so happy to be able to play and be creative with my camera without the time crunch of a wedding day.

..Max + Laura Sneak Peek | Hide Away Country Inn..

Happy one week of marriage to Max + Laura!  Last weekend they were greeted with Tropical Storm Issac.  Unfortunately, for them it was completely unavoidable, with their wedding and reception all outdoors!

Even though the rain was evident throughout the evening, this image was one of the ones that you couldn’t tell it was raining.

Laura + Max, I hope week one has gone well for you so far!  I can’t wait to share the rest, so tune in soon.

..Riley Turns One | NorthWest Ohio Portrait Photographer..

You have met this sweet girl on the blog many times before and I was thrilled, as always, to photograph her again!  Crazy thing is she now joins the one year club, along with a couple of the other babes that were born the same week as Eli!

Knowing that Riley + Eli are a day a part, we had their parties the same day.  {So unfortunately with everything that goes into planning, the kids were unable to go to each other’s party.}  However, Patrick and Jessica didn’t want to miss the opportunity to capture her at this stage in life.  So while I was in town, we made it a point to get together to do a mini session for her!  She was decked out in some cute zebra leotards and a matching shirt.  And although she thought her headband was an option, we were able to get some great ones with it on!  {We even had a failed attempt of adding Mya in the picture.  See outtake below!}

There were so many things that we have related to over this last year as new parents, and it has been awesome knowing we will always have that!  Jessica sums up Riley’s first year, Riley’s first year has been amazing!  Of course it went by waaay to fast but that’s life nowadays.  Watching her transition into these toddler years has been so much fun and she definitely makes us laugh at any give time of the day.  She has such a personality that she loves to show and overall is just a happy baby!  I love how she gives kisses, shows us how big she is and just the other day she scolded Mommy instead of Mommy scolding her.  This girl definitely is going to keep us on our toes!

Patrick, Jessica, + Riley!  {Riley, I hope you had a Happy Birthday!}  Thank you for allowing me to take your portraits once again, I absolutely love capturing your family and I know there are many sessions to come in the future!  I love continuing this journey with you guys as parents and can’t wait to see what toddlerhood brings us!

..Tim + Courtney’s Mosaic Album | Album Show Off..

A few months back, I had the opportunity to spend the weekend with ..Courtney + Tim.. in Asheville, North Carolina for their wedding weekend!  It was one of the most beautiful and serene places I’ve ever been.  As the sun made it’s gorgeous decent in the sky, Tim and Courtney said their vows in front of their friends and family!

I now have the opportunity to showcase their STUNNING 12×12 Mosaic Album.  They decided to go for the big one, and it’s a beauty!  For the exterior they chose to pair the Black Osterich with a panel of textured Amethyst.  To highlight the design, they also decided on a layout that had a cameo feature.  Their black +white image fit perfectly and the album cover turned out fabulous!  Wouldn’t you agree?  {There are multiple exotic leathers and layouts to choose from with the Mosaic, and the options are endless!}

On the inside this album boasts 50 sides within it’s layflat seamless design.  They had me incorporate not only their wedding day in the modern design, but also their wine tasting event as well as their mini session at the Biltmore Estate!  It gave them the opportunity to tell the full story of their wedding weeekend.

To accompany their large album, they also received a companion album {on special from my album company.}  It was a simple 5×5 black album that had the exact same design.  The pages are printed on a heavier stock paper and it’s the perfect addition to showcase your album, without damaging your personal heirloom.  These are a brand new option and will be added to the a la carte menu soon!

If you like this couple’s album or want to explore your options with a Mosaic Album, feel free to contact me and I can make it happen! {Tim + Courtney! I hope you are enjoying your albums, I almost didn’t even want to send it on to you!!}
